Lotus Black Salt

Our Black Salt is so named as it was originally found in the Black Sea, and turns black when added to water. This salt is high in sulphur and is considered a cooling spice in ayurvedic medicine. It is often used as a laxative and digestive aid. It’s also believed to relieve intestinal gas and heartburn. Black Salt is often used by vegans in dishes that mimic the taste of eggs.
